PureEarth Privacy/Ordering/Return Policies


PRIVACY POLICY:

We collect only the information necessary to complete your order. Credit card numbers are not stored on our computer. Any printed copy of your order containing your credit card number is shredded when the shipment is completed. Read more under the "Online" section below for details of the transmission security of our web page.

 

We NEVER sell or give ANY of your information, including email addresses, to any other business (other than required information to UPS, of course) - it is kept confidential.

 

Our shopping cart software does place a small "cookie" on your computer during the order process that is simply used to retain your shopping cart information. It is NOT a "tracking cookie" - no information about your hard drive or web site visits is ever collected.

 Two methods of ordering are available - online and phone:
1. ONLINE 

Most items can be ordered online. These items will have a [Order] [Checkout] link next to them which will add your item to a "shopping basket". Once you are done shopping, click on the "Checkout" button on the "shopping basket" page, or the [Checkout] link on the catalog page. Here you will fill out a form with name, address, credit card info, etc. This safely sent to us for quick order processing. An order confirmation and shipping acknowledgement is e-mailed to you.

Security is one of the most significant concerns on the Internet. We use ShopSite shopping cart software to assure that your personal information is protected from misuse. Sensitive payment information, like credit card numbers, are encrypted both in transit and on the Web server. We use standard SSL encryption for transmission, and a built-in encryption engine to generate secure order logs.

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal are accepted for online purchases. We use address verification to help avoid fraud - be sure to list the address where your credit card statement is mailed as the "bill to" address.

2. PHONE 

PureEarth is open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday to answer your questions and to take your order. Some products, such as private well products are often better handled in this method due to the many variations possible. SHIPPING METHODS

Orders are normally shipped the next business day after receipt. Orders $99 or more going to continental U.S. addresses are shipped via ground UPS - FREE. Orders less than $99 are only $8.95. Call for shipping upgrades (Next Day, 2nd Day, etc.) or for shipping costs to Alaska and Hawaii, and outside the U.S. If your e-mail address is provided, shipping confirmation and the UPS tracking number is sent to you.

Note: Credit card fraud is a felony and we will aggressively prosecute anyone attempting to misuse a credit card number. We use address verification and track every transaction. We will use all means available to prosecute persons attempting fraud.


RETURN POLICY:

Unless otherwise stated, our products carry a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not pleased with your purchase for any reason, you may return it for a refund with 30 days of receipt:

  • Invoice copy must be enclosed with reason for return.

  • Product must be in saleable condition. It is subject to a 15% restocking fee.

  • Return shipping is at the customer's expense (be sure to pack it well and insure it for the full value).

  • Any initial shipping charges that we incurred but did not charge will be subtracted.
